In 2011, Altamys set itself a challenge. The interactive agency, established in 2007, wanted to find a new way of helping companies enjoy the advantages of paperless processes. It had already set up training sessions providing specific support, particularly on electronic bids in response to public calls for tenders. It would have to be an IT solution.
Conscious of corporate needs and already aware of an existing tool used by regional government authorities (MPI), Altamys decided to come up with a new kind of electronic signature system. The starting point: the desire to be able to contract with third parties, which was neither possible with a digital signature system nor an ERP because they work within a closed circuit. The obstacle: enabling signers outside of the company to provide electronic signatures so that documents would have full legal value.
The dynamic DOCUMYS range was thus developed with its innovative contract server.
